Summer Art Exhibition at The Wood Norton Hotel

A community art project…

I was delighted to be invited to take part in this free-entry exhibition in support of St Richard’s Hospice at The Wood Norton Hotel. Miranda and Jeremy have owned the hotel for 12 years now and this project is part of their ongoing wish to not only be part of the local community but help the community by raising funds for local charities. Miranda is also an artist and some of her artwork will also be on display along with six other local artists. Miranda has curated the exhibition.

Raising funds for the hospice…

A percentage of all sales will be donated to the hospice and there will also be an auction of selected pieces prior to the public launch.

A Family Art Day

The public launch is on 2 July from midday to 5 pm and is in the form of a Family Art Day! There will be a barbecue on the lawn and free art activities for children.

The exhibition will feature a range of art styles including semi-abstract, abstract, floral, still life, landscape, studies of people and a variety of mediums too, including oil, acrylic and mixed media with collage.
