Waddle of Worcester Art Trail

UPDATE February 2025: The Great Waddle of Worcester Art Trail is over! 40 large penguins designed by artists and 40 penguin chicks decorated by schools and community organisations waddled into Worcester in July 2024 and out again in mid-September. The trail was hugely successful providing wonderful entertainment for local people and visitors alike. ‘My’ penguin Blossom’s sponsor was Prime plc situated just around the corner from St Richard’s hospice. Thanks to Prime for sponsoring!

On 24th October the 40 large sculptures were auctioned to raise vital funds for St Richard’s Hospice. I now know Blossom’s new forever home… Blossom was bought at auction by Worcester Bosch and will be joining an elephant and giraffe from previous art trails. I’m delighted that Blossom will be staying in Worcester and that Worcester Bosch employees and visitors will get to see them.

Sale of all of the forty penguins raised £330,000 for the hospice!
