Art Events 2024 – not as many as 2023!

Last year was quite stressful in some ways with a number of pretty much back-to-back exhibitions. This year I’ve made a conscious decision to slow down and do a bit less…

Friday 3rd May: Waddle of Worcester Penguin – completed and ready for collection

Monday 6 May: Spirit of Malvern, a Plein Air landscape competition – a new kind of challenge for me!

Saturday 15 June: Launch of an exhibition entitled ‘Breathless – Breathe More’ that I’m curating with Leena Batchelor of Script Haven in Worcester High Street. It’s all about 10 artists and 10 poets respond to sub-themes of the title and the exhibition at Script Haven continues until 30 June. The benefits/aims are to illustrate possible paths toward well-being in our fast-moving, stressful world, encourage connection between art forms and provide general interest for exhibition visitors.

Early September through to early November: ‘All That Jazz’, an exhibition at Ludlow Assembly Rooms with fellow artist Cherrie Mansfield.

I have a feeling that more might well be added in the course of the year…
